The past two weeks afforded me the opportunity to cover a lot of ground across The Natural State during the Senate’s In-State Work Period. I visited 16 counties and spoke with Arkansans about many different priorities and issues of concern, including inflation, rising gas prices, labor shortages and supply chain disruptions as well as workforce development and the need to unleash American energy.

This was a really exciting and productive time out and about in a variety of Arkansas communities. In keeping with my long-held view that the answers to our problems must come from the ground up, these visits are always an important tool to help identify concerns and work on solutions that benefit the people and families across our state.
