WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) recognized the efforts of dedicated college students who served the state of Arkansas as interns in his Washington office and state offices. 

“These interns have been a tremendous help to my staff and to the people of Arkansas. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to being ambassadors for our state and my office. It is my hope that they found the internship rewarding and learned a lot about the work we do on behalf of Arkansans,” Boozman said. 

Christine Carroll, Katie Dean, Taylor Donnerson, Peyton Flory, Sam Hall, Hannah Henderson, Caroline McCarty, Douglas Munson, Devyn Noblett, Peyton Noland, Elizabeth Perry, Alexia Spanos, Kyle Stuetelberg, Tristan Walk, Abigail Walker and Samantha Warren completed a five-week internship in Boozman’s Washington office. Their duties included constituent relations, administrative assistance and legislative research. Interns were also given the opportunity to meet distinguished speakers and tour the Capitol, White House and Pentagon. 

Connor McKenzie worked in the senator’s office in Lowell and learned about how Boozman’s staff helps constituents navigate problems with federal agencies as well as how they represent the senator in the communities where they live and work. 

Christine Carroll is from Coppell, Texas. She graduated from New Tech High @ Coppell in 2015. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying economics and political science.

Katie Deanis from Armorel and graduated from Armorel High School in 2015. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying political science with minors in English and medieval renaissance studies. 

Taylor Donnerson is from West Memphis, Arkansas. She graduated from West Memphis High School in 2014. She is a senior at Lyon College where she is studying psychology, religion and philosophy. 

Peyton Flory is from Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from The Madeira School in 2017. She is a sophomore at Vanderbilt University where she is studying economics. 

Sam Hall is from Springdale. He graduated from Har-Ber High School. He is a junior at the University of Arkansas where he is studying economics and political science. 

Hannah Henderson is from Bentonville. She graduated from Bentonville High School in 2015. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying political science. 

Caroline McCarty is from Little Rock. She graduated from Pulaski Academy in 2017. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas where she is studying international business. 

Connor McKenzie is from Rogers. He is a 2016 graduate of Subiaco Academy. He is a junior at the University of Arkansas where he is majoring in political science with a minor in communications and a pre-law concentration. 

Douglas Munson is from Little Rock. He graduated from Episcopal High School in 2015. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas where he is studying supply chain management.

Devyn Noblett is from Bentonville. She graduated from Bentonville High School in 2015. She is a senior from the University of Arkansas where she is studying political science. 

Peyton Noland is from Greenwood. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 2016. He is a junior at Lyon College where he is studying business administration.  

Elizabeth Perry is from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She graduated from Jackson Hole Community School in 2016. She is a junior at Colorado College where she is studying political science. 

Alexia Spanos is from Jonesboro. She graduated from Valley View High School in 2015. She is a senior at Rhodes College where she is studying political science.

Kyle Stuetelberg is from Rogers. He graduated from Milton High School in 2015. He is a senior at the University of Arkansas where he is studying accounting. 

Tristan Walk is from Adel, Georgia. He graduated from Cook High School in 2015. He is a junior at Valdosta State University where he is studying computer science. 

Abigail Walker is from Fayetteville. She graduated Fayetteville High School in 2015. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas where she is studying English literature.

Samantha Warren is from Rogers. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 2017 with degrees in business administration and international studies. She is currently attending the University of Arkansas School of Law.
