WASHINGTON – Northwest Arkansas residents will be happy to see a friendly face in U.S. Senator John Boozman’s (R-AR) Washington, D.C. office. Gabi Gies, a Fayetteville native, has joined the senator’s team as deputy scheduler.

“I am honored to join Senator Boozman and his amazing team in Washington. Arkansas is a special place to call home and I look forward to helping connect Arkansans with the senator as he serves our great state and continues advocating for the priorities of Natural State residents,” Gies said.

“I’m pleased to have Gabi on the team and join our efforts to advance policies to improve the lives of Arkansans. I appreciate her willingness to serve the public and commitment to delivering the outreach our office is proud to provide,” Boozman said.

In her role as deputy scheduler, Gies will work with the director of scheduling to manage the senator’s meetings. Additionally, she will help brief the senator on appointments with Arkansans and assist the chief of staff.

Prior to joining Boozman’s staff, Gies served as staff assistant in the office of Congressman French Hill (R-AR-02).

Gies graduated from Fayetteville High School in 2019. She is a 2023 graduate of the University of Arkansas where she double majored in political science and psychology. She is the daugther of Andre and Marci Gies.
