WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) recognized the efforts of dedicated college students who served the state of Arkansas as interns in his Washington office and state offices.
“These interns have been a tremendous help to my staff and to the people of Arkansas. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to being ambassadors for our state and my office. It is my hope that they found the internship rewarding and learned a lot about the work we do on behalf of Arkansans,” Boozman said.

Austin Baker, Jack Cain, Maria Calderon, Hannah Dillon, Will Easley, Mackenzie McGeehan, Logan McGregor, Jackson McNeal, Carter Milligan, John Pecaro, Lily Ryles and Jackson Wellons completed a five-week internship in Boozman’s Washington office. Their duties included constituent relations, administrative assistance and legislative research. Interns were also given the opportunity to meet distinguished speakers and tour the Capitol, White House and Pentagon.
Austin Baker is from Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 2016. He is a rising senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he is studying supply chain management and minoring in information systems.
Jack Cain is from Augusta, Arkansas and grew up in Searcy, Arkansas. He graduated from Harding Academy in 2016. He is a rising senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he is studying political science and minoring in psychology.
Maria Calderon is from Houston, Texas. She graduated from Cyprus Woods High School in 2016. She is a rising senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she is studying political science and international relations with a Spanish minor.
Hannah Dillon is from Harrison, Arkansas. She graduated from Harrison High School in 2014. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice, sociology and psychology.
Will Easley is from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 2014. He then graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration marketing and a minor in enterprise resource planning.
Mackenzie McGeehan is from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She graduated from NorthWest High School in 2016. She then graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA with a degree in political science.
Logan McGregor is from Golden, Colorado. He graduated from Golden High School in 2016. He is currently a rising senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he is studying finance and minoring in economics.
Jackson McNeal is from Fayetteville, Arkansas. He graduated from Fayetteville High School in 2015. He then graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a Bachelor’s degree in English literature.
Carter Milligan is from Fort Smith, Arkansas. He graduated from Southside High School in 2013. He is currently studying political science at the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith.
John Pecaro is from Boynton Beach, Florida. He graduated from Atlantic Community High School in 2016. He is currently a rising senior at North Carolina Central university where he is studying political science.
Lily Ryles is from Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy in 2016. She is currently a rising senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she is studying business management and minoring in marketing.
Jackson Wellons is from Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 2016. He is currently a rising senior at Rhodes College where he is studying political science and English.
