Apr 04 2014

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Mark Pryor and John Boozman today congratulated Chris Carter of Fort Smith on being named 2014 Arkansas Assistant Principal of the Year by the Arkansas Association of Secondary School Principals (AASSP). Carter has served as Northside High School’s Assistant Principal for eight years.

“From scheduling an entire school year to addressing discipline matters, assistant principals are on the front lines in keeping our schools running smoothly from day to day,” Pryor said. “I want to thank Chris and the many assistant principals across our state and nation for working every day to ensure our students and our schools reach their highest potential.”

“As a former school board member I understand the important role administrators play in educating young minds,” Boozman said. “We are proud of Chris’ efforts to make Northside High School a great place to learn and his work to provide our students with a brighter future.”
