Press Releases

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) today released the following statement on the anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks:

“On this day, eleven years after the 9/11 attacks, we remember the innocent victims of the attacks and honor the lives that were senselessly cut short. We also remember all the heroes—the first responders who charged into burning buildings to rescue victims; the average Americans who helped save their fellow citizens in a time of crisis, including some—like those on Flight 93—who gave their own lives to save others; and the servicemen and women who have been deployed since the attacks to fight terror and protect our freedoms.  Please take a moment today to say a prayer for all the victims and their families and for our troops still in harm’s way.  Let us use this day to reflect on the past, and to never forget as we honor the victims and the heroes who continue to inspire us all.”
