U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) and members of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee heard testimony about the Veterans Health Administration's Diffusion of Excellence initative from Arkansas native Dr. Kimberly Garner. Dr. Garner is the Associate Director for Education and Evaluation (VISN 16)/ Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center in Little Rock. She helped create an advance care planning program for veterans. She was selected as one of 10 VA Gold Status Best Practice Fellows for her innovative work.
Heber Springs Elementary second graders visited U.S. Senator John Boozman’s Washington office from their classroom with the click of a mouse. The second graders talked with Boozman in the nation’s capital via Skype, an online service that allows video discussions over the web.

The agriculture industry is an economic driver for Arkansas. This is why I host an annual ag tour so I can hear the ideas of our farmers, ranchers and producers about how we can improve agriculture policy.
For the sixth straight year, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) will be hitting the road on his annual agriculture tour in an effort to highlight the industry’s importance in Arkansas. Boozman released this video featuring past stops and the counties he’ll visit during the 2016 ag tour that kicks off on Monday.
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences radiologists and radiology assistants (RAs) highlighted their support for legislation introduced by U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) that enhances the role of RAs and improves health care access for Arkansans.
Senator Boozman honored the service and sacrifice of veterans at a medal presentation at the Arkansas State Capitol for veterans who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
